Matt & Phred's is a Live Music venue located in the heart of Manchester's Northern Quarter, with gigs Monday-Saturday until late. On weeknights, you can expect to kick back and enjoy the finest jazz, blues, and soul (live 8-11pm). On Fridays and Saturdays, you can expect to party to the best disco, pop, funk, soul, brass, and everything in between (live 9:30pm-12:30am).Your booked table will be yours for the entire evening, we just ask you to select an arrival time and stick to it. There is a 15 minute grace period. If you cancel within 24 hours or don't turn up, you will be charged £10 per person. For bookings of 9+ guests, or if you'd prefer a phone reservation, please call 0161 273 5495.If we are fully booked on tables, you can still turn up on the night and watch the band from the bar area.*Please note, we are an Over 18 Venue after 7pm.

    I’ve visited the blues kitchen a few times and have always enjoyed the whole experience. This was no different. Amazing food, staff were all so friendly and helpful and the restaurant was perfect. Only small complaint I would make is the taco bowl salad is no longer a taco bowl. When me and my husband honeymooned in Mexico our favorite thing to eat was the Mexican taco bowl. Blues kitchen was the only place I had ever found that made them and they tasted EXACTLY the same so Qudos for that! I booked Blues for our 15th wedding anniversary so me and husband could come and have a taco salad as a nod to our honeymoon and it came out in a porcelain bowl with three small taco rounds. I mean the taste was still there but I was sad about the taco bowl 🤣 bring it back!! In al honesty it didn’t detract from a great time and we will 100% be back xx

    Had a brilliant night here for my birthday. Staff were very accommodating and attentive and the music was amazing. Really talented musicians, and they played mostly well-known stuff that was accessible for my non jazz-aficiando friends. Can't wait to go back.
