The Farmhouse at Redcoats is a beautiful 15th century farmhouse nestled in the north Hertfordshire countryside. Sherwin Jacobs heads the kitchen and delivers quality, fresh, local produce, much of which is grown in the no-dig garden and onsite polytunnel. Feast over fire events, pop-up BBQs and supper club events litter the calendar. The food is award-winning - Best Premium Food, Good Food Guide, Food Made Good Award, 2 star rosette kitchen etc. Private dining is available across several charismatic rooms in the main house - The Old Kitchen, The Victorian Room and The Oak Room. There are 24 rooms available and the Barns venue across the courtyard is regarded as one of the best wedding venues in the country, regularly winning awards. Afternoon teas are available at 24 hour notice.

With the welcoming bar at the front through to the 70-metre garden at the back, it’s full of stunning sustainable design details – the epitome of the Lussmanns elegant, classy but classless style. Enjoy our fabulously good value £20.95 two course set menu, our sumptuous Sunday roast or, in the summer, a handmade, wood-fired pizza in the secluded garden.

    My partner and I come here on every anniversary of ours and we always left so taken care of and spoilt. The quality of the food is always incredible, their mocktails are beautiful and the people who work there create a lovely environment to eat in!

    Couldn’t ask for a better experience to be honest. The food was served in very hot dishes and skillets which tasted absolutely amazing. The portions were a perfect size and very well priced too. The staff are very friendly and felt very family oriented. We will be visiting more frequently.

    We've attended Roca on a few occasions and always had a good time. The service is attentive but not intrusive and the staff are helpful with details of the menu. The food is well presented and tasty with a good range of options. We usually sit inside but there is seating outside under cover. Recommended
