Interesting decor in beautiful old building, warmly greeted. We sat in the front section of the restaurant closes to the High Street. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We ate from the set lunch menu with a choice of 3 starters, mains and 2 desserts, a beef, fish and veggie option. 3 chose fish cake, delish followed by substantial pollock rosti chips and peas, very tasty and 1 burger with all the trimmings. To finish Ice creams and figs yummy. All excellent as always Thank you

Always nice to be able to order a light meal without feeling you should be ordering a mains of an evening. Very quiet, as we went early, and no pressure to leave when we'd finished our meal. Polite and not pushy service appreciated. Fish cakes are very good.
