We pour our estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay alongside a curated selection of other wines and specialty beers, paired with wood-fired pizza, charcuterie, and cheese boards.The room was built with stonework and warm, careful detail, with heated outdoor seating for the evenings and live music on Friday and Saturday nights.The wines come from our own vineyard on a ridge 1,250 feet above the Carmel coast, seven miles from the Pacific, farmed by hand and entirely organically. They're made in a leaner, more Burgundian style than the California norm.The name comes from the ridge itself. In the 1930s, William Hawley Bowlus launched his Albatross sailplanes off these same slopes. Eight decades later his son and grandson planted a vineyard on them, and only afterward discovered the connection.

    What a lovely restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was Excellent! We had the chicken parm and the chicken piccata and they were both Fantastic! We also enjoyed a slice of carrot cake that could easily have fed 3 people! Such an exceptional place! Look forward to to coming back

    What a fantastic find! Absolutely beautiful restaurant, comfortable to be dressed up in, or dressed down, you’ll still feel right at home. Amazingly delicious food. Superb service, Rene was awesome, attentive and friendly, plus, very reasonable prices. So happy we spotted this spot on Open Table. It’s a wonderful spot, and we can’t wait to go back.

    Shane was our server and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was top level. We shared appetizers and salads and main courses… no one had any complaints! We especially liked the crispy fingerling potatoes! Scallops over polenta were a big hit as well. Plus the restaurant has plenty of stories about its past.
