Best Brunch Restaurants in Miami: Le Jardinier (Design District) is Miami’s only MICHELIN-starred brunch, a refined Sunday Soirée prix fixe from a Joël Robuchon-trained chef. Palace (South Beach) delivers the city’s world-famous drag brunch, a 35-year Ocean Drive institution with bottomless mimosas and glamorous performers. MILA (South Beach) turns brunch into a rooftop spectacle above Lincoln Road, blending Japanese precision with Mediterranean buffet stations and live music. Red Rooster Overtown (Overtown) is a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand community institution from chef Marcus Samuelsson, serving yardbird fried chicken and brown sugar waffles with real cultural weight. Together they span fine dining, spectacle, and Miami’s most meaningful neighborhood brunch.

What the experts say:

“Miami loves an excuse to day drink, making brunch an ideal concept. With bottomless beverages, fancy Champagne offerings, buffet stations, and over-the-top dessert displays, it’s a meal we never skip.” —Amber Love Bond, Miami native and writer for Travel & Leisure, Southern Living, Men’s Health, Forbes, Eater, and more

“Miami brunch is sunlit, stylish, and a little over-the-top—in the best way. Expect decadent dishes, waterfront settings, DJ sets, and flowing cocktails that make it feel closer to a daytime party than a restaurant meal (but nobody is complaining).” —Olee Fowler is a Miami food and restaurant writer and co-founder of The Leftovers Miami, with bylines in Miami New Times, Eater Miami, Time Out, and more

Design District

Le Jardinier is Miami’s only MICHELIN-starred brunch destination, and its Sunday Soirée is one of the most refined ways to spend a weekend morning in the city. Chef Alain Verzeroli trained with legendary chef Joël Robuchon, and that pedigree shines at this opulent Design District restaurant, where a lush outdoor patio and light-filled dining room create what feels like a tropical garden in the middle of one of Miami’s most design-forward neighborhoods. The Sunday Soirée is a three-course prix fixe brunch that comes with a complimentary cocktail alongside à la carte options for those who prefer to roam the menu. Seasonal dishes span Murray’s burrata with local citrus and starfruit, yellowfin tuna carpaccio with avocado and tamari dressing, challah French toast with mixed berries and mascarpone, and avocado toast on sourdough with piquillo pepper coulis — all executed with the precision of a kitchen that has held its MICHELIN Star since 2022. For the best special occasion brunch in Miami, Le Jardinier is the clear choice.

South Beach

MILA is one of South Beach’s most transportive dining experiences, a MediterrAsian restaurant that has made its Sunday brunch one of the most talked-about in the city. The multi-course format takes diners on a genuine culinary journey — elevated buffet stations anchored by the restaurant’s Japanese-Mediterranean philosophy, limitless cocktail offerings, and the immersive energy of live music that makes the whole afternoon feel like an event rather than a meal. The newest additions to the experience include dedicated temaki, spritz, and gelato stations that add an element of playfulness and discovery to the proceedings. MILA’s design is as impressive as its food — a rooftop aerie above South Beach’s Lincoln Road corridor that offers views and an atmosphere that are hard to match anywhere in the city. For a brunch that blends Japanese precision with Mediterranean generosity and genuine South Beach glamour, MILA is a must-visit.

Latin American
Brickell

Rosa Negra brings the bold, festive spirit of Latin American cooking to Brickell’s most vibrant brunch table, and its Sunday Viva Brunch has become one of the signature weekend experiences in the neighborhood. The restaurant’s approach to Latin cuisine is wide-ranging and ambitious — drawing from across Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America to produce a menu of fresh, punchy flavors — and brunch amplifies that energy with signature cocktails, live shows, and an atmosphere that makes every table feel like a party. Whether arriving with friends or family, Rosa Negra’s open, dramatic dining room and lively crowd set the tone immediately: this is a brunch that earns its noise. The cocktail program leans into Latin classics — frozen margaritas, passion fruit caipirinhas, and the kind of tropical drinks that suit Miami’s perpetual summer — while the kitchen delivers everything from ceviche and raw bar selections to heartier Latin brunch staples. For the best Latin brunch in Miami, Rosa Negra is a must-try destination.

Lebanese
Coconut Grove

Amal Miami is Coconut Grove’s standout Lebanese restaurant, a restaurant that brings the warmth and abundance of Levantine hospitality to one of Miami’s most leafy and relaxed neighborhoods. The restaurant’s name means “hope” in Arabic, and there is a genuine optimism in the cooking: beautifully made mezze, grilled meats treated with real technique, fresh-baked flatbreads, and the kind of vegetable preparations that reflect the Lebanese kitchen’s deep respect for produce. Brunch at Amal feels like a long, generous meal in the eastern Mediterranean — dishes arriving in waves, cocktails built around arak, rosewater, and the citrus flavors of the Levant, and a dining room that carries the relaxed, convivial energy of a family gathering done right. The Coconut Grove setting, with its bayfront greenery and unhurried weekend pace, makes Amal Miami one of the most pleasant and distinctive brunch settings in the city.

Mexican
Coconut Grove

Los Félix brings a vibrant, produce-driven Mexican brunch to Coconut Grove, channeling the spirit of Mexico City’s thriving all-day café culture in one of Miami’s most characterful neighborhoods. The restaurant’s commitment to authentic Mexican flavors is evident from the first bite — house-made tortillas, salsas built on chiles toasted and blended with care, and egg dishes that draw on the rich tradition of Mexican morning cooking, from chilaquiles rojos to huevos con chorizo and freshly blended aguas frescas. The space carries a warm, casual energy that suits weekend mornings perfectly, and the outdoor seating benefits from Coconut Grove’s canopy of tropical trees that make brunch here feel like a genuine escape from the city’s more intense energy. The cocktail program is equally considered, with micheladas, mezcal-forward bloody marias, and rotating margarita variations that make it genuinely difficult to stick to just one. Los Félix is one of the best Mexican brunch spots in Miami.

Asian
MiMo / Upper East Side

Phuc Yea is one of Miami’s most original and beloved restaurants, a Vietnamese-Cajun fusion concept in the MiMo district that has built a devoted neighborhood following through bold cooking, a warm and irreverent spirit, and brunch that reflects its entirely unique culinary identity. Chef Aniece Meinhold and partner Cesar Zapata created a restaurant that leans confidently into the unexpected combination of Vietnamese and Louisiana cooking traditions — and brunch is where that creativity translates most joyfully. Expect dishes like Vietnamese-spiced fried chicken served with waffles and nuoc cham, bánh mì loaded with morning proteins, pho-inflected takes on classic brunch staples, and cocktails that blend Southeast Asian flavors with the bold, spirit-forward sensibility of a New Orleans bar. The space is festive, colorful, and unpretentious, with the kind of energy that makes a weekend morning at Phuc Yea feel genuinely different from anywhere else in Miami.

Overtown

Red Rooster Overtown is more than a restaurant — it is a community institution and one of Miami’s most meaningful dining experiences. Celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson brought his passion for food to historic Overtown, a neighborhood long recognized as the cultural heart of Miami’s Black community, and in 2022 the restaurant was awarded the MICHELIN Bib Gourmand — recognition that reflects the kitchen’s genuine quality at an accessible price. Brunch here is a weekend buffet of real character: fried items, grits, and brown sugar waffles get consistent praise alongside Samuelsson’s celebrated cornbread, yardbird fried chicken, hot honey salmon, and mac and cheese. The bi-level space features original artwork by internationally acclaimed artists, giving brunch at Red Rooster Overtown a cultural richness that goes well beyond the plate. The restaurant hires from within the community and sources from local purveyors, making every visit a genuine act of neighborhood support. For a brunch with history, heart, and great food, Red Rooster Overtown is essential Miami.

Restaurant lived up to the hype! Phenomenal experience from start to finish. Excellent service and fun, lively atmosphere. Food and cocktails were 10/10. The southern chicken dish was some of the best fried chicken I’ve had. The flavor was deeper, more complex than your typical fried chicken. House-made pickles and pimento biscuits were the perfect compliment. Collard greens were definitely top 3 all time. Pork chop was slightly overcooked but still delicious. Mashed potatoes and crispy onions with the chop were fantastic. High booze content in the cocktails - got your money’s worth. The DJ was just getting going outside as we were leaving. Wish we could’ve stayed and partied all night. Really appreciated the complimentary ice cream for my wife’s birthday. Will definitely be back!

South Beach

Abbalé brings the sun-drenched flavors of the modern Israeli kitchen to South Beach, delivering a Mediterranean brunch that feels perfectly calibrated to Miami’s climate and appetite. The restaurant channels the spirit of Tel Aviv’s thriving all-day café culture — a deep commitment to fresh vegetables, house-made breads, and the bold, herb-forward flavors of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cooking — in a space that carries the relaxed confidence of a restaurant that knows exactly what it is doing. Brunch at Abbalé means shakshuka prepared with real depth, smooth hummus served with warm pita and labneh dressed with olive oil and za’atar, whole-roasted cauliflower that earns its place at the center of the table, and cocktails that incorporate the flavors of pomegranate, sumac, and preserved lemon. The South Beach location gives Abbalé a clientele that appreciates quality and a setting that makes every morning meal feel like a small Mediterranean holiday.

Coconut Grove

MICHELIN Green-starred Krüs Kitchen is one of Coconut Grove’s most exciting restaurants. The contemporary American kitchen’s ethos boast a genuine commitment to wood-fire cooking and the kind of local and sustainably sourced ingredients that make the best of what South Florida’s agricultural scene has to offer. The restaurant was built around the conviction that great ingredients cooked over fire produce food that is more flavorful and more satisfying than anything that can be achieved by other means — and brunch at Krüs is where that philosophy meets the weekend mood most naturally. The open-fire kitchen anchors everything from egg dishes enriched with house-smoked proteins to wood-grilled vegetables given a depth of flavor that conventional cooking can’t replicate. The cocktail program is equally considered, and the relaxed, design-forward space suits the Coconut Grove neighborhood’s mix of creative energy and tropical ease.

Came from Philly and nyc and we couldn’t have been happier with the beautiful and unforgettable food and drinks. I cannot get over the wine list - sick as hell. Obsessed with the commitment to ethical, sustainable sourcing and as a Florida native I loved learning about everything that was coming from Florida to my plate! I told my partner it’s been the best meal I’ve had in 2026. Krus will be memorable for so many reasons but the biggest will be Kat, she was absolutely wonderful! She provided ideal service and we had such lovely conversation. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy even more from your team!
