Just wow what a place , they have a gem of a business here , everything was perfect the food top notch and the staff were great 👍 couldn’t recommend highly enough , thank you to the team what a treat ❤️

It was our26th Wedding Anniversary- we had our wedding reception at the Assembly House here 26 years ago. The staff were amazing, the food was delicious, the host was attentive, ambiance was perfect, location stunning. We received extra chocolate Anniversary chocolate brownies and fizz. very special; a perfect 26th Wedding Anniversary! We couldn’t eat our top tier, the staff were accommodating and gave us boxes and a bag to take our goodies home. I would recommend Afternoon tea at the Assembly House, every single detail is well thought out a real special treat. The afternoon tea was delicious, not too sweet, lots of choice and if you can’t manage it all you can take it home 10:10 for us- A very special day! Thank you- Assembly House xxx

We went during the recent eclipse. Served drinks on the roof, retired to a charming table inside. Both the Brill and the Cote de Boef were absolutely fantastic. Great wines, starters and desserts. The staff are very friendly and professional and all we're very welcoming. We even were lucky enough to get a visit from George ( the boss?) who took time to explain his journey to this premises and his thinking behind how it works and where the ingredients originated from. A very special night, just what we required with friends from the Alps who we don't see enough of. Highly recommended for every aspect of our visit. Thank you.

Burgers are just the best. So juicy and tasty. Love the salted chips. You must try the freckles too. Oh and the port bites. Service good as always too. Look forward to our next visit 5⭐️
