Chiltern Restaurants

Interesting decor in beautiful old building, warmly greeted. We sat in the front section of the restaurant closes to the High Street. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We ate from the set lunch menu with a choice of 3 starters, mains and 2 desserts, a beef, fish and veggie option. 3 chose fish cake, delish followed by substantial pollock rosti chips and peas, very tasty and 1 burger with all the trimmings. To finish Ice creams and figs yummy. All excellent as always Thank you

Excellent food with good choice of meals, a good fixed price option menu for those that would prefer. Friendly, polite and efficient service. Would definitely return.

Thought we'd try Sunday Roast as love the weekday experience. Lovely food, would have liked slightly larger portions for the cost of main, but delicious. Desert was stunning, and wines always a bespoke choice - the Georgian red was very good pairing with the beef.

Lovely atmosphere and great food! Great for a Saturday lunch!

Delicious and loads of vegan options. Free glass of fizz as it was my birthday!
